Kelsey Cline became OC’s head golf coach in August 2008 only to lead the Eagles to a national chamionship in the spring of 2009. The team championship was the first in program history and only the second in school history (men's tennis 2003). Cline was the NAIA National Coach of the Year for 2009 in addition to being named the GCAA NAIA National Coach of the Year as he coached five players to All-America honors.

Cline came to Oklahoma Christian after a stellar playing career at the University of Oklahoma from 1997 to 2001.

Cline was an All-Big 12 and all-region selection at Oklahoma, where he was the Big 12 Tournament runnerup as a senior in 2001. He tallied five career top-10 finishes for the Sooners before graduating in 2001.

Cline went on to qualify for the Byron Nelson Classic of the PGA Tour in 2002 and 2003. He was also named the 2002 Tight Lies Tour Champion.

Cline has caddied 15 PGA Tour events for Hunter Haas, a college teammate and close friend. Cline has been extensively involved in golf camps and player development since 2000.

A native of Mustang, Okla., Cline graduated from Mustang High School in 1996. He was an all-state selection as a senior and won conference championships in 1994 and 1996.

Cline resides in Norman, Okla., and also works in marketing for the Marc Heitz Auto Group.
