Lisa Johnson serves as the head coach for the men's and women's intercollegiate tennis programs. She joined the OC coaching staff August 1, 2004.
In 2005, she led the men's team to a 16-6 record and a No. 25 ranking and the women's team to a 13-6 record and a No. 22 ranking in the final national poll.
An OC alumnus, Johnson has served as coach of the men's and women's varsity tennis teams at Chickasha High School and as physical education instructor at Southwest Elementary in Chickasha since 1992.
Johnson is a past president of the Oklahoma Tennis Coaches Association and currently serves as the secretary-treasurer of the state organization. The Oklahoma Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance selected her as the Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2002. This year, she was named Oklahoma Region Coach of the Year.
A 1983 Oklahoma Christian graduate, Johnson earned a master's degree in secondary education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1990.
She and her husband, Brian, are the parents of two daughters, Piper and Katie.
